WSA was engaged as the consulting Structural Engineer for the services required for the design of footings to support an Overhead Crane and a Wrapping Station.

This project involved the design of a 28’-0” x 3’-0” Overhead Crane footing and a 33’-0” x 3’-0” Wrapping Station footing. The work involved the disassembly of the existing Crane and Wrapping Station to allow for the construction of the footings. The footings were designed to bear the two structures which were in need of a permanent foundation system. The Crane and Wrapping Station were then anchored to the new footings which were designed and engineered by WSA Engineering Ltd. The footings were designed to make efficient use of materials with long term structural integrity. WSA Engineering Ltd. has a broad range of experience in working with designing engineered foundation systems for any application.
