DESCRIPTION:
New Denver, BC is home to 600 citizens, this active community is situated on the beautiful Slocan Lake, within the Selkirk Mountain Range, in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia.
WSA Engineering Ltd (WSA) was invited by the Village of New Denver to assist with the replacement of their ageing Wood Stave Water Reservoir. WSA presented a number of options and costs to the Village Council and a bolted steel tank adjacent to the existing reservoir was chosen.
Tasks completed by WSA included:
- Options Analysis and Predesign
- Preparation of Specifications & Tendering
- Survey & Site Development Plan
- Design of Piping & Tie-in
- Assistance to Village staff to prepare the site & install the piping
- Construction Inspection & Contract Administration for tank installation
