DESCRIPTION:
The Village of Nakusp, located on the Upper Arrow Lake, is home to approximately 1500 residents. The water system serves over 750 residences, over 100 commercial businesses, and 27 institutional or industrial customers and the water distribution network includes over 25 km of pipe.
This project included the installation of a 50 HP well pump and pitless adaptor as well as the necessary piping modifications to tie the well into the distribution network. The new well supplements the village water supply and allows for future growth of the community.
