DESCRIPTION
Silverton is a Village (pop. 230) on the east shore of Slocan Lake in the Central Kootenay Regional District of British Columbia.
One of the elements included in a Strategic Capital Plan prepared by WSA Engineering Ltd for the Village of Silverton was the addition of a new Water Reservoir. This was required to supplement existing storage to improve fire protection and the FUS rating.
A number of options were considered and a Bolted Steel Reservoir on a concrete base was chosen.
